Last fall, singer-songwriter Jackie Greene played a handful of concerts in support of his The Modern Lives – Vol 2 EP. JamBase is pleased to premiere pro-shot video of a song from Greene’s October 5, 2018 performance in New York City with The Modern Lives Band and announce a few June dates for Jackie and the band.
Greene and The Modern Lives Band brought the brief tour to Town Hall in New York City on October 5, 2018. Jackie’s band features longtime collaborator Nathan Dale on guitar, keyboardist Shannon Sanders, percussionist Megan Coleman, drummer Jon “Smoke” Lucas, bassist Ben Rubin and a horn section. “The night at Town Hall was a hell of a lot of fun,” the Salinas, California native told JamBase. “Lots of energy in the room that night. Luckily, we got it on video.”
Jackie Greene & The Modern Lives Band will play The Observatory North Park in San Diego on June 6 and The Golden State Theatre in Monterey, California on June 7. Cris Jacobs will open both shows. The concerts come in addition to previously announced May dates and a slot supporting Blues Traveler and Leftover Salmon at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on July 4.
